Well I'm working my way through a few niggles with the old girl.
Upgraded the SATNAV to a MK4 unit, nothing on the screen up front, plugged the mk4 directly into the TV port, all was good again. ... |

Yes it is! At least I know that both my nav units are working, although I must admit I'm starting to wish I hadn't started this!

OK, so I tried the software update on the new unit after having unplugged the battery for 20 minutes, no joy.
So I took the blue lead off the TV unit and plugged that in and hey presto, all was good ... |

Yes, the red light comes on and you can hear the disc spinning away, so that seems ok.
Might also try loading a fresh v32 software disc. |

I tried pulling fuse 49 for 1/2 an hour. I'll try pulling the battery tomorrow.
I cleaned up all the connectors on the TV box, no joy.

Yeah, I think running around with the satnav unplugged may have upset it, might pull the battery leads off for a bit and see if that tricks it back to life.
