Blimey.
Taking the hub off is a reasonable idea.
I guess I would need a puller to get the driveshaft out?

Yes that would do the same job probably.
I have an air drill as above, but just wondered if it would be good to get the job done? |

I have been reading how difficult it is to get the ball joint out of the hub, and most people either give up and send to a garage, or spend hours with a club hammer hammering it on the top down etc.

Hi,
Its a new to me car. I changed the oil as soon as I bought it, and will now do it as suggested above.
The oil in it currently looks good and clean, even after about 1000 miles.

I had new cam cover gaskets fitted, and at the same time had all PCV pipes replaced, the oil separator and PCV valve.
Garage (a very well respected LR indy) suggested I do an oil flush now and then ... |

Had a fault code for misfire on cylinder 1, moved coil pack to cylinder 3 and got the fault showing as cylinder 3.
I am right in saying the issue is definitely the coil pack aren't I? |
