Thanks.
I did take the red tap out and one O ring fell off. So I put a new one on and it’s holding the coolant now, but I wanted belts and braces to be honest. |

I need a new radiator drain plug, but none are listed for the 4.2 supercharged.

There is a coolant pipe under there that I could do checking for a leak while running.
I guess I will put the plenum on, run it and then take off again to look for coolant.

Still working on the car, and I could with running the enhine without the big plastic plenum attached.
Problem is it starts then dies when disconnected!
Any idea? I really want to see whats goin ... |

It may need to be lower to trigger the warning. I lost coolant the other week, and stopped as soon as the message came on, but it did look like the level was lower than that.

4 weeks or so ago I had new water pump.
Following that, 2 coolant pipes leaked (due to being incorrectly refitted, not from being knackered or bursting) and have been replaced.
Then 2 weeks lat ... |

| This is one thing I preferred on my Disco 4 6 speed to the D4 8 speed. Fewer kick downs and just used the torque. |

Just took it for a drive (hard drive) and it stayed rock sold at middle of gauge.
Expansion tank level had dropped a bit so maybe some air had moved and come out? |

Had a new water pump, followed by 3 coolant pipes that needed replacing due to shoddy work.
Replaced the last one this morning, vacuum filled it.

In the process of replacing the hose, just waiting for the parts, but it is going to smell bad ... |
