On your screen go in to aux heating then wait a few seconds
And you should be able to select the lower left corner aux heating
That's the instant way to start the fbh rather than setting the timer |

I take it you have sat nav. Have you tried the direct mode
With key in position 2.
And for the timed have you turned temp high and puts fan on full auto
Before turning the car off. |

When removing the fuse for the heater (F59) my FBH remote led flashes
which its never done before normally solid light.
