just do a search for LEAR AMP on the bay.....they are all the same I think whther it's BMW stamped or not.

most in US are 2-300 quid by the looks of it.

I might buy the broken one on there and try and swap the main socket. all smug in my new plug!

Might b worth a punt rather than buying another he has really good reviews in here and BMW forum

Baris actually does repairs/mods to the BM54 radio/amp unit. But he may well be able to help with a cost effective repair of the DSP amp as well. 
RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr,

Bleedin frustrated today as all the RSE is in and the AMP has gone loss opf sound again!!!!

Tempted to just get a replacement AMP and be done with it.

If I was keeping the car more than a few more months I'd do the speakers and DSP/AMP but it's not worth the hassle I don't think.

Need to have a stab at it again tomorrow as got 3 kids in the back tomorrow so really wanted it working for the journey to Loch Lomond...raging.com all smug in my new plug!
