Painting pillars

Some b*****d or the wind the other week has put a nice dent in my 'C' Pillar trim which needs either filling and painting or replacing if possible. I also need to get some spiderswebbing on the window surround of the front passanger door rubbed down filled and painted.
Questions are is it satin black on a 2005 and has anybody done it with good results at home or is a dent doctor a better (more expensive option)?

your thoughts please ladies and gents Mine was a blue one! Smile

Not sure how the C pillar comes off (you mean the wide one beyond the rear passenger doors, yes?) I'll have a look in RAVE when I get home. Might be able to push out the dent? .

That happened to me in the SC back in 2009 , panel can be ordered separate cost about £74 IIRC so i just left it with them as it takes about 24 hours to bond it Thumbs Up

there's a thread going talking about hi gloss trims that cover these trims. they do come of but they are very hard and you will find easier to do on the car.
