I've had marks all over the inside of my pillars (they're cream plastic in my car) since I bought the car.

Just to be clear, I used an abrasive rubbing compound rather than a polish. My interior plastic actually IS slightly textured - at least it's not "shiny flat" if you know what I mean? I just used a kitchen wipe to remove any residue afterwards.

I know polish isn't the same, just wondered whether it was "near enough"........

My plastic has some scratches that seems to show there is some kind of top coat / finish on this plastic so rubbing down does the job nicely .

For any cleaning like this I have always found a Magic Sponge ( melamine foam ) works best , it will clean any marks off just about any surface without the use of a cleaning agent or solvent so you don't have to worry about destroying surfaces or leaving any marks / residue . 2008 MY Supercharged
