1010-2012 LCM lighting control module 2004-2010 upgrade

hi guys this has been talked about before as it may be the answer to fitting the rear 2010 on led lights and the headlight clusters , would be great if thats all it was , has anyone got any pictures of the lcm ? and would it be backwards compatible ? i have been looking through a load of 2010 ecu,s but most of them its difficult identify what they are 1990 3.5 v8 defender

If it is anything like the LCMs on the BMWs then you might have to get it re-flashed at the dealer to work with your car, used LCMs could not be re-flashed as they stored mileage info etc. Maybe the equipment is different now, but with the L322 having so much in common with the BMWs I would check this with a dealer before parting with any money for the unit. I think a new LCM for my old BMW E46 Cabrio was about £350 from the dealers so it makes sense to use the resistors instead. Tom

all these are valid points , as i said this has been talked about but has anyone fully investigated the possibility so it can be disregarded Smile 1990 3.5 v8 defender
