dont believe what i have just done !!

i thought it would be a good idea to tidy up my elec window switches as the rubber was coming off

tried everything for a quick fix

thought i would try a bit of NITROMOSE which bubbled up the rubber straight away

unfortunately it has knackered the plastic

yes i am a tw@t but need a solution

are the switch covers avaliable seperately ????

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Rub down with grade 400 wet & dry then grade 1200 then grade 2000 or 3000 would be better, then polish up with cutting compound then polish and wax Thumbs Up

I replaced this in my old range rover. It's not the worst job to do and I think it cost 30-40 quid

Yes I was reading that Plasti-Dip is a spray coating that will put the rubber feel back. It is used on many BMW and Land-Rover parts. Tom
