Tried all that Stan. Nothing.

Plugged into laptop. Saying tool found on port 5 but no update clicky

On the car I get this after searching for the tool:

delete the updater and switch off/on the pc/laptop and re-install the updater..

So where do I get the activation code from ?

deleted and re-installed updater. No change.

I have, but they don't respond as quickly as the forum gurus!

After much back and forth emails, GAP are sending out a replacement. What a great start!

I now have a replacement which works fine. Found loads of faults on the new purchase already!

Is there a UK outlet to upgrade my original IID to the BT IID variant? I feel I'm missing out on a lot of info with my beta unit lol! Land Rover Addict

Well the replacement worked for three weeks and failed.
Same message as above.
GAP told me to:
Try it on another car (tried it in two cars)
Try a different cable (tried four inc brand new cable)
Try a different computer (done)
Still not working. Looks like I’ve been unlucky so far. Heading for another replacement which will take a week to arrive again. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Gents - silly question - under GAP software on the app - does 'left refer to from the drivers seat (ie uk nearside) or facing the front of the car from outside (ie uk offside) ?

I.know this is an old thread but I cant find the answer on search... does the gap iid communicate with the controller for the engine mounts on a 2004 td6? I've noticed more of a vibration than I used to have and wonder if I can test them.with a gap.tool?
