I'm going to strip and rebuild my air compressor this afternoon. In short, how do I remove the compressor? When I say remove, I mean is it just a case of unplugging the electrics and the air pipe or should I be draining the air first and if so, how? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Noddy if you have a RAC or IID tool just unplug it and the air line. You should only get a small hiss. If you don't disconnect the battery first then unplug. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

If something can't be fixed with a hammer....... You have yourself an electrical fault!

Hallo, if you have NO message in your display like AIRSUSPENS.INACTIVE, than you must disconect your battery first, but if you HAVE message, it is not necessary to disconnect, because you must erase your faults with the RSW or GAP, first than the new fitted compressor will work. When i fitted my lpg tank the suspension was in normal height i just unplugged the hose from the compressor
And it didnt even make a hiss or go down , and on reconnection everything worked fine  1990 3.5 v8 defender
