I would imagine this has been covered before But is any one using any differant oil other than Castrol edge 5w40 |

Slightly off topic, but if you are using the Castrol (I did) - There's 31% off the price at Eurocarparts at the moment ..

But if you include the delivery charge for 10 litres, the Castrol only works out about £2.50 more |

But you get less of it as you need at least 9 to do the td6 |

Ive been using Unipart FS 5w40 for some years, meets the full BMW oil spec..... its the same as Fuchs TITAN but i can get 2x5lts from my local Unipart shop for £44............and i change the oil arround the 6k mark |

Mobil 1 here, 5 litres from Costco is 30 quid. 4 litres of Edge is the same. Both conform to the same specs making it a no-brainer... |

I think it's the 5w40 Turbo Diseasel stuff I got. There's enough left over for topping up between changes if need be. 2003 Vogue TD6/1992 Classic 300TDi/2x 1991 Golf GTI/1966 Volkswagen Kombi/2x 1968 Volkswagen Kombi/Probably something I've forgotten... |

I ended up with 20ltrs of 5w40 delivered to my door from Watsons lubricants for £67 the correct speck for my ffrr |
