Could be many things, but my bet would be a weak/worn compressor |

i've had that once or twice. I would suspect it is not normal and something is worn (compressor). Factor in some discount if the rest of the car is worth a punt. |

My first guess would be the compressor is on it's way out , I suppose it would depend on how old the car was they don't last that long it seems . 2008 MY Supercharged

I've seen the "vehicle raising slowly" message before after checking (or "playing" according to my wife) with the ability to raise or lower the car.

Yes, if he hasn't reset the suspension after a battery change, it can cause many different errors.
