we heres the update turns out it was the link from the battery to the bolt on the bulkhead that was loose resulting in error messages and hdc faults and everthing else took it back to the garage this morn diag with all the faults checked electrical tightness and that was at fault thankgod ive got my range rover back looking forward to driving it now

I'll have to check mine as I get the hdc inactive on start up every couple of days or when ever it feels like it cheers for the heads up

hi roger i have been out and checked the car all afternoon and no hdc at all so seems to have cured it suppose time will tell but my hdc inactive was on everytime i turned the key then that led up to abs light,yellow triangle,hdc air suspension part of a failing battery it was as though the car was telling me it was poorly in a way try the connections were it meets the bulkhead where you can connect the jump leads etc thats were mine was loose hope this helps let me know how you get on
