No brakes Are fine. It is also only registering 13% on the handbrake test. Can the cold weather have had an effect? It has been sitting unused for the last 4 days |

They want to take the hub off and look at the shoes! They think that the adjuster may have seized hence the poor jandbrake perfromance

When I fitted my new brake shoes I split the adjuster and lubed it, worth doing if they eventually get hub off. |

there's a hole in the hub where you can put a screwdriver in and adjust the shoes, i gather they have tried this without success...its best to get it sorted James tbh.. ... - .- -.

If you had the pads replaced a year ago I would have thought everything should still be free.

They have the car in neutral? It's not the gearbox holding it? [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

No all the other wheels turned fine - just the rear left was stiff. THink the new Shoes put on for the last MOT have seized somehow, probably due to it not being used very much (have been away for a while).

I'd say yea, seems a bit draconian to fail the car on something so trivial |

Possible the cog on the adjuster is catching on the spring. A bit of poor design in the drum I feel.... .
