Excellent. Still very pleased with the ULF system in mine.

I wonder what makes the difference with the 32 / 36 short for pairing then ? There must be a difference somewhere.

Suppose as long as it pairs, it doesn't really matter.

I have Navcoder, and there is a tick box on the Telephone settings to put the ULF in pairing mode, so I don't think it really matters how it gets enabled.

On the Digital TV front, I got a BMW hybrid unit (digital and analogue) from a 2005 X5, and its a straight swap.

Bit pricy on the bay of e, but if you get lucky or can find a BMW breakers.......

Where did you get the cable for navcoder? I've looked about and getting a bit confused with what I need to buy, other daft question is where do you plug it on the car?

There is a BMW hybrid unit on ebay just but its a wee bit dear - sorely tempted.............

Thanks

I got one of these ;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Programming-...41738a67fd

Works a treat.

Never used all the BMW software that comes on CD=R's with it.

Says you get a trial version of Navcoder, but you can get that off the net.

You've prob done a search on here for Navcoder, so you'll know what you can configure with it.

Cheers - I'll get one ordered up - really just want to enable the voice recognition for the phone and maybe a few other bits and bobs. Like lights on all the time - everyday car has auto lights and really miss them on the RR. My other half cant believe I've been able to do so much without going near a garage, although I'm probably tempting fate, having said that!

I enabled my voice recognition with it.

And changed the ID of the ULF so its my chassis number, not one from a BMW.

My mobile now says "L322 xxxxx" connected / disconnected.

Hopefully cable be here tomorrow so can play with navcoder tomorrow night when I get home. Bought a hybrid digi TV box as well (got to stop spending money now!) its out of an X5 and coming from Latvia - thought twice but took the risk in the end. It was a bit dearer compared to getting analogue unit upgraded but no faffing with a remote control and at least I will have my old unit to go back in the car if I ever sell it. Did you upgrade the ariel or just stick with the original one?

I didn't change the aerials, but in saying that, I couldn't find any info as to why I had to. If you find otherwise, let me know.

Seems to work fine, except when I park up at work with the rear up against a wire fence........signal drops in and out and breaks up like crazy. Park the other way, no issues.

The 2 connections for the aerials are not front to back on the hybrid unit, they are side by side, so I'm also not sure as to whether its possible to connect them the wrong way round. Seems to work both ways.

You may also get "Aux In" as on option as a channel, but you'll need the loom to add a dvd player or such like.

Well, as I'm off work this week, decided to fit a pairing button.

Got one of these from Maplin ;

http://www.maplin.co.uk/locking-push-switch-34857

Thought about mounting it on a plate etc, but decided it would be a bit overkill.

Works a treat ;

Congratulations to all... this is the best forum on the Range Rover, I've looked everywhere the instructions for re-pinning for BMW ULF L322, here I found what and many other valuable information...

I bought a ULF on the bay in Lettonia (itself seller?), the seller says he upgrade the software to the latest version with SES command

while I wait the ULF I re-pinning with your pattern, thanks again to you, now I finally understood that pin use to make the pairing (32-36)

Sorry for my bad english.

Regards

You are more than welcome.

If you have any problems, we will do our best to help.

If it makes the rewire clearer, here is the chart I used ;

The Chart is perfect, thank.

I can use the SES for Tel, Navi and Note, you know if other function are available in SES mode ?

In the navigator I can't set the target in SES mode, I can find distributors or other things in my location but I can't set the destination by voice, it's normal ?

Thank again.
