Go back through the fuses, one by one and make sure nothing popped when re-inserting them the first time. I managed this on mine when I had the OBD socket apart to straighten one of the connectors.

I don't recall which fuse it was not but I do remember it was something fairly innocuous looking which immobilised the whole car. I ended up taking the battery off and then pulling the fuses one by one and checking them with a meter (old eyes) rather than just a visual check. Once I found the offending item it was all good again.

Best of luck.

I don't think so Stan. I know what you say about needing a well charged battery is true but this really sounds like power isn't getting to one circuit. Other stuff works fine, just not the dash.

I remain convinced it's a dodgy fuse or similar on the basis I had a similar thing.

Dom.

Sorry Stan you owe the man a pie!
In the dark last night (In my defence after a day from hell) I had put a fuse back in the wrong slot so even when I double cecked I was still looking in the wrong place.
Just gone through them all with a clearer head and found it. Just got to sort blower fan now so got to wrestle with FSR.
Thank for all the help sorry I was a numpty (Supposed to be an electrical engineer lol)

Ps people say you can see or spin the fan by taking pollen filter out but I cant see it or do they have little hands cause mine will not fit!

Thanks again Thumbs Up Mine was a blue one! Smile
