Move the gear selector back and forward a bit when it is in park. Something might not be engaging correctly. Previously..

Why not try disconnecting the battery again for 5 minutes and try again.
Is there a chance the battery is nearly flat ?

Don't think so as its the transponder in the key that does the imobilising I thing an if its unlocking the steering that should be ok. Put your battery on charge and try in the morning. These things have a habit of just fixing themselfs. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Sound like when you have put the fuse back you may have given that system a belt or something. Put on charge overnight so you know the battery is full, and pull the fusee you pulled the first time. In the morning check all the fuse's and replace them. Then put the battery fully charged back on. I would also think about touching both battery cables together first to ensure its fully flat and all ECU's are discharged but I'm not 100% sure that's the correct thing to do. Hopefully someone else will give some guidance on that? [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]
