not many here have this diagnostic tool so you might not get a quick response, have you tried asking on the bbs forum? ... - .- -.

thank you, will do so now.

but i was just wondering. i took a measurement of my drivers side front from wheel arch to wheel hub, i got 19.5 inches

did the same on the passenger, and got 19.3, and this is on level surface, even on access or offroad height, the passenger side is always slightly lower than the drivers side.

is that a normal behaviour pattern for the range?

That's what the book says. I have a similar problem with LH front being @ 10mm lower than RH front. My diagnostic tools so far have been unable to adjust this. .

During normal operation +10mm is normal. If you have set the suspension to tight tolerance mode (only 2006>) it should go to +3mm. This is only for servicing such as for an alignment, tho. Leaving it in tight tolearnce mode will throw faults and waer the compressor very quickly.

NKC, you can take a look at the procedure we have for doing an EAS calibration with the IIDTool in the appropriate version of the IIDTool manual
http://gap-diagnostic.com/support/documents.html
The procedure will likely be different for the Faultmate (I assume the calculation does not need to be done manually - all you need to do is enter the values) but it will help you to understand what is necessary.
