Process is the same, pump in the bottom of the housing is different....

Plus the TD6 has a second pump mounted externally to the tank too....

Another RR owner has just done the in tank pump on the TD6 using this pump....

Mine cuts out when the gauge hits 1/4 tank and the range shows around 78 miles. Is that the inner pump or outer?

Should I be able to hear the pump?

Great write up thanks Saint.

I think my pump may have packed up, I have checked the relay in the rear fuse box, should I be looking for a separate fuse too?

I have stripped the back out, carpet up and inspection hatch open and cannot hear a thing from the pump when the ignition is turned on. Is silence normal?

Are there any other tests I can do before I attempt replacement.

Any advice appreciated as always.
