so you just insert the key [without turning it ?] and then press the red button ...

Start procedure is as normal, turn key to position 2 and press the button, rather than turning to position 3, which is now not needed, so it is the same number of steps and engine off is simply key off. I could bypass the whole ignition system and replace the barrel with the button start, but it would make it considerably easier to steal.

its very similar to the bmw start button jobby except for the extra key turn.....nice job btw. |

the bmw system is , put key fob in and fully press the start button ,with your foot on the brake for autos...

Ah ok, I know the mode your talking about, there is a 3 step way to work them as we use it to plug in an OBDII reader when reading fault codes.
