Ive replaced a few now but NO where near as many as the old type... So, seams to be a vast improvement |

Are AGM batteries only for cars with Stop/Start tech? Dave

No, a lot of the later diesel L322's had them from the factory. |

Sorry to be a thicko, but what benefit does an AGM battery give over "normal" ? When you say "not had any battery problems to date", do you still get "HDC Inactive" if you leave the car for a few days ? |

AGM is more aimed at leisure batteries. Instead of wet acid and lead plates it is made up of fibreglass mat which absorbs a gel version of the acid.
