How to modernise a 2003 Vogue V8

Hi,
After having just bought my FFRR, I am thinking of ways to make it look a bit 'fresher' to stop it from looking dated.

This is my car,

What have you done to yours?
Supercharged rear lights?
New grill?

Whatever floats your boat and depends what your budget is.

You can do anything up to a 2012 Overfinch conversion.....

This is such a personal thing. To some, that looks dated. To others (me included) it is 'classic' almost. The newer ones are too bling and chavvy for my taste.

Don't rush into it. Seen any number of horribly spoilt FFs My plan was idiot-proof ...

Until someone designed a better idiot

Fully agree, you have the best-looking L322 already. All trying to make it look more "modern" will do is spoil it and devalue it.

I've got the same year as yours rich,

I'm just going to go for the rear lights, angel eye style DRL and update the electronics inside a bit. Like the others have said, it depends on your budget. Look on Gaz's site at his 2004 full facelift for a complete example of what could be done.
There was also someone on here who got so annoyed with the limitations with the vogue electronics that he completely rewired his entire car to modern spec.

I think the rear light are the biggest let down for me. I just don't like the traffic light look.

On the flip side, I don't want to get supercharged lights and feel I am trying to make it something it isn't.

Budget is limited, just want to do little things that make subtle differences.

Sounds like you have the plans i want. Lol.

£300+ for the rear lights is a bit excessive tho.

Hunt around for the lights, you can get them for cheaper. Don't forget you'll sell yours afterwards to make some money back. Laughing

Nothing is cheap on this car mate. Bushy
