Sorry to have to resurrect this but I got the same camera as you Supershuttle but struggling with the install ... when you say "cables to cut and join" whereabouts did you make the cut? I am about to try this on the weekend (my local garage guy refused to meddle with the wiring as it was an aftermarket camera) and don't want to mess anything else up.

Presumably the cut needs to be in a watertight region so that there is no risk of water ingress ... and did you solder the cables together or just splice and use insulating tape?

Many thanks!

I bought one of these and eventually got around to installing it this weekend BUT, although the picture is clear, the image is flipped horizontally (not mirrored) so a vehicle parked at the rear offside is showing on the camera image as being on the rear nearside.

Any ideas on how to correct this, please?

Many thanks
