Scotland 2019 Range Rover SVAutobiography 5.0 SC V8 Waitomo Grey
Vapour from air vents

As title really, driving on motorway, vapour started coming in through vents when air con on. Shat myself before I realised where it was coming from. Any ideas ? Tried a search stan, didn't find much Thumbs Up

It can happen on car ac systems when you have a very cold system evaporator and high humidity air passing over it. The moisture in the air simply condenses but doesn't settle on the evaporator fins.
Generally nothing to worry about if it's only occasional.
The other cause of misting at the vents is leaking refridgerant. Bit more to worry about, if it is this your ac system will stop blowing cold in a day or two.
Almost certainly the first option. Thumbs Up

You are not alone Mr Tee. Happened to me a couple of years ago on a nice hot sunny day on the motorway. Turned off the A/C and ignored it for a couple of days. Never happened again. .
