United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Tangiers Orange

Having replaced the letters on mine, using the aforementioned seller, and now knowing Dan at Duckworth's friendly service and great prices, I would not even consider buying "reproduction" letters.

Price between them and the original, via Dan, are not very different, maybe 20/25% more for the real thing.

The "copies" needed trimming, filing, and even now are not perfect. It seems like the letter were painted on a flat surface, were over sprayed then, once try, fitted with tape and packed.
Also, the sticky tape was different from one set to the other and one set did not stick until I warmed it up with a heat gun.

A shame considering the amount spent on having the Rangie fully detailed (and I mean the lot). Again, I would go straight to the genuine part.

However, note that I did buy other bits coming from this company and they were absolutely fine.

So if you have a decent L322, do not go the cheap route, this goes for trim, and of course for body parts and service parts.

I will not comment on £15 set, I have never seen them, but they are probably coming from the same chinese manufacturer than the ones I got. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

Check with Dan for Price please.

If you are simply replacing letter, you do not need the template, just contour the letter with tape, take them off, clean and apply new ones with using the tape as a template.

Mine were taken off for a few days as the car was being sanded, polished, waxed etc. so the template was needed indeed.

To get the letters off, warm them up and use a plastic blade to get them off. then, use make-up cotton, (the "disc" ones), apply a bit of nail varnish remover, then apply for 10/15 min on the sticky tape residue - GONE Wink No need for the rubber drill thing.

So are the letters the same front and rear ? ie slightly contoured ? Or should the rears be flat? 2003 Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

Fronts are contoured to match the bonnet, rears are flat. If you're buying new ones I think Dan's the man to make sure you have the OEM fit and finish.
I sent some third party ones back for a refund, the template was poor and the front letters flat. Confused Geoff

I have the cardboard template for the curved front and the straight one for the tailgate if you need it.
