A quickie on rear calipers for the '06 MY cars - the ones that seize frequently !

Are they the same across all engines & types for L322 ? I presume they are as when a search is made for pads, both Td6 & AJV8 cars come up on the compatible cars lists.

Can anyone confirm please ?

No, they were only fitted from 2006MY-2009MY. Not sure if the 2010>on ones are the same

At the same age the 4.4/3.6/3.0/4.2 shared the same rears when i was looking for mine. Mine was about £50 off ebay but i think i dropped lucky  FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
Mantec Sump Guard, Rigid Load liner, MY10 BT upgrade.

2006 - 2009 TRW Calipers - same as Discovery 3

Just remember that the calipers are handed, so you need to check which side they are for carefully, as so e are listed as lhs or rhs, but it delends on whether you are facing the front or rear of the car......

Personally if you are going to do the job id do both for peace of mind. AF's exchange calipers are about the cheapest i have seen a couple of quid off the ecp ones. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

^ Yep, NMJ, agreed - both will be done.
The plan is to source some used ones to obtain the carriers, refurbish them and fit along with recon calipers to both sides.
Ideal opportunity to also sort out the "nearly" handbrake at the same time . . .

I've sourced a pair of excellent used rear calipers via ebay for refurbishment. As NMJ suggested above - I'll sort both at the same time.
Haven't had the pistons out as of yet, but if they're OK, I'll strip these and rebuild with new seals after shot blasting & powder coating. I can get the carriers finished the same way at the same time.
When I bought the car all the calipers were cosmetically poor and had a quick lick of black paint by the dealer . . . After the ROS stuck, I've decided to have all four corners sorted.
