Help 2010 RR won't start

Hi

Just out camping in my 2010 RR and have blown up a few air beds. Car won't respond and warning light on hazards. I have just bought the car but can remember reading about a pop out key on the fob wich I have found but don't know where it goes can I reset the car with this. Any ideas or a number for RR assist as I have left all the paperwork at home and I'm typing this on my phone.

Thanks, just back from camping. I phoned assist and they came out and got me started. Battery tested and was fine but I really did not think I drained that much power blowing up airbeds. Turns out their is a recall for 2010 TDV8's which included a wireing modification and new gel battery which I will book it in for.

Did you leave doors etc open, have radio on, run a cool box, breathe on it funny, look accusingly in its direction, if so the battery will be flat.

Last year at le mans we managed to accidentally flatten 2 ffrr and this year had to make sure to run mine twice a day for 20 mins to charge the battery. Nearly flattened it but just started on one occasion, and that was with a couple of air beds and the boot being open for an hour.

Luckily we had leads with us on both occasions and they permanently live in the car just in case. Were handy this year for starting a selection of cars for the other poor gits who has flattened their batterys by charging phones, listening to the radio and leaving doors open. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Trust me you don't need to use it much to drain the battery to the point it will not start! You are correct about the recall for a new battery and wiring modification (or battery monitor to give it its correct name) After which, when the engines not running, you will enjoy a massive 10 minutes or so with the radio/ICE system on before you get a low power warning and everything switches off Shocked Great for the DVD system Big Cry

I wouldn't say the recall solves the problem, it just prematurely masks the problem by stopping it from happening agin Rolling Eyes

Two batteries on the L405, Nuff said Whistle
