Sorry, should have been a bit clearer, I am looking at L405's which I believe have the same engines as the D4 (TDV6).

Hi Derek & welcome to the forum! I am fortunate to have had a 4.2 S/C and two 4.4 L405's. They are both great cars, but my advice if the budget allows would be to go for the 4.4 SDV8. Fuel economy is good for a heavy lump, but it's the torque that makes you grin when you plant your right foot! Amazing engine and 8 speed box Cheers, Andy SDV8 AB MY 2019 SDV8 VSE MY 2015 - Gone 5.0 S/C AB MY 2010 - Gone 4.2 S/C VSE MY 2006 - Gone |

Just joined. I have owned Mach 1 Disco, P38 and two L322's in the past, mainly for use with 2 of my hobbies. Last couple of years have moved to a pickup as being a bit more practical for what I need but do miss the ride and pace of the Rangies. May be tempted back |
