Best way to flush L322 V8 engine (if i should at all?)

Hi Guys

Car done about 84k miles and although i have lovingly looked after it since 66k, the past owner didnt have the same mantra.

Should i do an engine oil flush on the upcoming service? OR, will that potentially cause more issues such as blocking internal pump filter etc? If yes, what is the best stuff to use?

Also - i need to swap the main water radiator - i want to make sure the pipework is clear, how best can i flush that system? Do i use an additive or just stick a hose up the pipes? It has had radweld in the system before. I am pretty sure the transmission oil cooler part of the old rad (lower section) is partially blocked (see my other posts), so anything i can do to flush ancillary pipes in case any junk gets transferred to my new rad?

Old school i know, but sometimes the simplest approach can be the best.

On engine oil I suggest to go with full synthetic and a new filter regularly. On coolant I suggest radiator cleaner followed by a complete replacement of the coolant followed by another replacement a few months later.

When the mechanics tried to clean the oil out of my cooling system after the burst oil cooler/heater it took them over twenty flushes with clean water to give you a feeling of how hard it is to clean the cooling system. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
