I was pulled over at midnight in Southend, dressed up in black tie etc;;

police were checking all expensive cars as routine….far to many getting stolen … He then said
Your number plate is wrongly spaced… if I give you a £35.00 ticket it won’t change your life, so I won’t bother Thumbs Up

We parted company , my ‘’friend’’’ complained bitterly saying why do they only let rich people off !!! Censored … I should have made him walk home.

I hope the scan works out well… Bill Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

The spacing is nothing to do with ANPR, unlike font, background and coloured mounting screw caps fitted to intentionally change the letters or numbers into something they aren't. Spacing is to enable a human to remember the sequence, the 3-4, 4-3 was one of many spacings tried and proven to be memorable to humans. Vanity plates IMO should be removed from the owner upon detection, we see every week cars presented for MoT with them fitted, usually with a comment of 'oh, the proper ones are in the boot', they're usually the ones with other defects (because if I can drive around with vanity plates on, it's OK to break other rules too) such as exposed tyre cords, cracked wheel rims, lamps not working etc.

If you want to 'personalise' your car, get a sunstrip with your name on it, or some (fake) chrome bits, spinners or some flame stickers at the bottom of the wheelarches.

mines a tdv6 so theres no air intake on the off side ..thats why i test fitted on that side....

on my near side i have the air intake [you have on both sides i believe] so its a mater of dismantling it to access the back of the headlight...

not that difficult to do Geoff.. ... - .- -.
