Its all depends as there are many stages and options. I had mine done before Christmas and got a full correction and protection detail externally that set me back about £300 and that was a friend in the business. For the above I would say about 4 to 500 for external as a rough guide. If you go to detailingworld.co.uk you might gain more specifics as there are many pro detailers on there who could give you a price depending on exactly what you needed done. I prefer to do my own now as I get better satisfaction hope that helps Thumbs Up Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

+1

I bought das6 pro machine for £99 and a similar kit

Took me 6 hours, but amazed with the results. Huge satisfaction at doing it myself.

I've also got all the kit as well. A Meg's DA with a multitude of waxes and polishes however I still paid someone else £500 to carry out a two day correction detail on my L322 when I first got it. The Range is such a big car that you'd probably get bored/tired before all the work was done so that's why I paid someone else to do it.

I think it all boils down to how much you value your time.

As others have said it depends on how much corrective work is needed on your specific car as it could range from very little to shed loads and thus take loads longer. 1-2days for an FF is a fair amount of work considering that someone is holding a few kg of equipment and running it over bodywork a lot of that time. Upper body strength soon develops Very Happy

£350-900 is about the region depending on how much work goes into it IMO Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Put it this way, if you find a mobile valeter who wants to charge you £60, you may as well not bother, as they're likely to do more harm than good!

I do mine myself, but I grew up cleaning prestige cars (Jags, RRs, Ferraris, Discos) so know I can do it myself means I struggle to pay anyone.

There's much more DIY kit out there these days, when I started I had to buy the Porter Cable stuff and US 110V transformer etc, a ball ache. Discovery 4 HSE

I remember seeing a young guy on a TV documentary somewhere in a London underground car park doing some kind of detailing on prestige motors, it looked like cleaning cars for big money but now I think about it he must have been doing various details to the motors. He had a cream that he claimed was over £10k for a jar of it Whistle

I can see why it would cost so much to have somebody detail it but I just dont know if its something I would get done especially with my ff living its life outdoors and the weather or birds taking a nice dump on it....... need to do some more research on the subject Question
