Rear heated seat button surround, removal help needed.

My grey textured surround on the back of the centre glove box, which houses the cig lighter and rear heated seat buttons has two ghastly chips which are bugging the hell out of me.

How do I remove it so I can paint it?

Ok no worries, by clips I take it you mean the black plastic barrels that go through the globe box hinges and locate into the panel I want to remove.
