Why would a caravan need a Sat-Nav? (I cant see the link from work!)
What I mean is, surely the caravan is being towed by the vehicle and therefore uses the vehicle Sat-Nav? Unless its a clever caravan and it goes wandering off on its own...

you can get caravan site poi's to put onto garmin/tomtom's which would be far cheaper.. ... - .- -.

it will divert you away from roads that are not suitable, ie no turning, very narrow lanes, very steep hills and so on.
this is also an easy way to get a digital upgrade.

I have a Motorhome Garmin Dezi Sat Nav and you have to input the size, weight etc and create a Van profile that stops it sending you down narrow lanes or low bridges etc. Very clever

I try to avoid using sat navs where possible when towing, managed to get wedged in a lane by one a couple of years ago. Real pita.

Now i try to rely on the 2 navigation devices i was given at birth(eyes) and my common sense plus try to avoid B roads where possible.......

I find in the uk a sat nav is pretty surplus most of the time, a quick look at a map and a good general knowledge of where places are tend to serve a person quite well.

Swmbo on the otherhand wouldnt have a clue how to get from town to town without assistance  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
