dpf filter?

Hi there,

I'm normally a petrol head and only have v8's in the family ( Disco, 110 and a 90 challenge truck) but just asking does the Td6 have a DPF ( Diesel Particulate Filter ) on them or is it just the TDv8 ?

Thanks again. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

To avoid confusion, there is an oil breather filter that does need changing every 30K or so

So what is the large thing in the exhaust just south of the turbo? Mine was pretty blocked.

Also in Germany NO DPF possible, so the TD6 may not drive in some towns, because we have red, yellow and green stickers for towns, mostly only green is allowed. The TD6 is like the BMW X5 3.0d, he has DPF..., but there is no technical possibility to Change parts from X5 to TD6. Green Stickers you can also buy at some well educated garage owners... Thanks guys, just what I wanted to know, DPF's can be expensive when they go wrong,so glad the td6 and early tdv8 are missing them Very Happy ....means I can broaden my scope in to the oil burner 322! Still a petrol/gas is best imo, I don't do the milage Laughing If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.
