IID TOOL & Clearing 'Inspection' Message

Purchased the car last Nov, did an oil change around march and used IIDTool to reset the service counter (wasn't displaying a message tho - just wanted to do an oil change for peace of mind)

Other day the 'Inspection' message started popping up on startup and the date 10/2013

reset the counter with IIDTool and its still comming up but now shows 10/2014

Any way to stop it showing on startup?

Thanks.

If its anything like BMW, i reckon that The inspection date is written into a non-volatile area of (possibly) several ECUs in the same way that the mileage is, so that disconnecting the battery won't have any effect. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Try the manual approach in the wiki (secret codes) .
