To face lift or not to face lift!?

Hi all,
Had my 2007 TDV8 VSE 3.5 years since 8k miles and its been absolutely brilliant.. now at 63k miles.
Great spec Black with two tone leather and all SE refinements - exactly as I would want again!
Oh and a Bell Auto remap since 10k miles! made a massive difference!
Anyway... kinda thinking of either changing it to a new of the same 4.4 tdv8 or a supercharged Wink but sensible mrs said that's 20k plus more money and what are you really getting that is worth that much? with your private plate no-one would probably even notice.. kinda get her point! annoyingly! so..
Then I thought its probably only worth about £20k now so what about keeping it another 1-2 years then hopefully I can get into the new L405 or sport. but would kinda like to make it a bit more like the newer L322 and wondered if a facelift was worth the money and would I get it back come to resell time (plus for my old parts)??
I know it has been discussed a few times over but based on what I currently have, I am keen to know what people would do..

Cheers
Nick

Yes, and a 4.4 TDV8, an 8-speed gearbox, big brakes, adaptive suspension and all the other benefits of the newer car.

Oh, err, actually, wait a minute - no. You just some extra twinkly bits which may or may not impress the sort of neighbours you wouldn't want anyway.

Sounds like value to me!

The facelift looks errrr..... newer but I think the 2006/8 rangey's the best looking L322 they made.
I'm attracted to the 4.4 & 8 speed box on the newer ones though.
I'm spending my 4 grand on holidays beer and of course diesel (20k a year).
It's tempting to pay for cosmetic surgery but it'll end up on the scrap heap eventually!
Some mature specimens can still look attractive! Very Happy

Facelift doesn't change the inside and that's were you sit. Its only Range Rover cognoscenti that are really aware of the changes, although to us they seem unmistakeable, but we can also easily spot facelifted Range Rovers. I'm not sure what I am saying, where's my carer when I need her Wink Geoff

Personally I think the interior of the 2010+ models is fantastically modern, the dash especially, including the push, start/stop. If I couldn't have the "whole package" I would save my money until I could afford the real thing...

That's my thoughts on it - you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig!
