After you clear the adaptations there is a set procedure that Eugene (ebajeema) has listed and must be used to make sure the gearbox learns the correct shift and slip points during use. I'd print it off and go back and ge the adaptations reset and then do this procedure to get the box in decent nick.

After that its a flussh and filter change on the box and after that a strip down  FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
Mantec Sump Guard, Rigid Load liner, MY10 BT upgrade.

Have a look at page 6, right in the middle is the adaptive drive cycle. After you have done that, it is still not perfect, that takes a few weeks. Mine is now silky smooth again, the way it should be. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
