As per Polux all genuine AB's should have the LR plate

Joker - Yep, you're spot on. Many thanks.

CG-SC - Your SC (like mine) has to be a Vogue SE then - That's all that was made for 2006MY. AB didn't arrive until 2008 onwards.

I've been up into the loft and dug out some old What Car? magazines which backs this up........

May 2005 - LR introduce AJ-V8s

September 2005 - SC is only available in Vogue SE spec

November 2006- SC is STILL only available in Vogue SE spec (4.2V8 Overfinch Supersport appears for a couple of months at £102,488) Shocked

SC AB appears 2008 +

That clears that one up then! Thanks all! Thumbs Up 2006 4.2 SC

check you have the autobiog plate under the bonnet at the front, should have your AB registered number

I'm almost sure it doesn't - So that doubly confirms that it is not an AB! Thanks! 2006 4.2 SC

The tread plates are both genuine. First ones are just the early version when Autobiography wasn't part of the full model line up and were ordered through Special Vehicles only.
