Polybushing experiment

Well I have taken the plunge & ordered a full kit for my RR, have read many conflicting stories that seem to be based on hearsay & not actually carried out by any one! So I am going to do it & see what its like. if it is horrible then I will change it back if not then I will leave it. Seems like the only sensible way to find out & given the whole kit is only a couple of hundred pounds will be an interesting experiment. It will be a few weeks before I get the time to do it but will let you all know my personal feelings on how it makes the RR feel

I fitted polybushes to yje last of my classics and they were great, when I sold it the new owner said it was great to have a RR with anti-roll bars. I had to tell him it did not have anti roll bars just polybushes and gas shocks.

Also fitted to my P38 and again a big improvement.

I had a p38 v8 with tired shocks, I treated it to Koni's all round and a whole set of orange poly's. it then drove tight, but it thumped hard over small cracks in road surface. I fitted the poly's myself, with a wide vice, sockets, washing up liquid and an oxy torch/hacksaw to persuade the old ones out. it was a heavy duty job. and in the heat of day, I was working like a Trojan. worth it to me, but it was harder ride. after driving my l322 (new standard bushes all round, on purchase) the p38 then seemed like a tractor though. (separate vs monocoque chassis)
