England 2009 Range Rover Supercharged 5.0 SC V8 Santorini Black
Timed Climate V8 SC

I have factory fitted timed climate on my ’09 V8 SC but it does not seem to do to work as I expected too.

The blower comes on when the car is unlocked but only for a few seconds so setting the timed climate via the screen or remote does do something but not a lot.

Does anybody have any experiences with timed climate on a V8 SC.

Many Thanks

Are you talking about the heating or cooling aspect? Most Petrol RRs dont have an FBH unless spec'd in the build. However it is possible to cool the car via the aircon I believe (may be wrong.. am sure someone will correct me.)

Some did have fbh fitted though i think it was an option rather than standard fit. Tricky to visually

I have only used mine via remote, on frosty mornings to get worst off the windscreen.

Not done it yet this winter, but I don't remember if it is still blowing once I've unlocked the car.
You can hear it if you stand next to front near side arch

Been a little nervous to set via timer, or for much longer than 20 mins. My battery isn't great , even without FBH draining it Laughing Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

Open the car up and turn the nav screen on but don't put you key in , go to timed climate in the set-up screen and turn the FBH on to manual , it should now start to run so leave it for ten minutes and see how warm the cabin gets .
If it turns itself off after a minute or so then Im afraid you have a problem that needs tracing . 2008 MY Supercharged
