Hi all

What are the differences between my 2009 59 5.0 S/C AB, what i would call 2010 MY and the 2010 MY that is referenced in the original LR brochure please?

I have a price list, downloaded from LR website that has the date 2010 MY Feb 2010 on the top heading which shows that it was standard on my model and then an original brochure from the LR website which says 10/1 in the bottom left of the front cover and this says it was a cost option on all cars.

I also have a printed (bought off eBay) 2010 brochure which just says 2010 in the bottom left corner of the cover but that doesnt show the options, referring me to the price list which i downloaded and is referred to above.

I havent come across this option in my car hence the question, I wanted to understand if its there before I look again, incase I havent went into the correct menu or something?

I saw a unit with Dual View on eBay so asked the seller about retrofit to a 2009 59 and he said it can only be fitted in a 2010, more confusion?

I had a 59 plate Autobiography 5.0 and the dual view was standard.

Are you certain you are trying it right?

The dual view button has to be toggled with the TV and sat nav on for example then lean across to the passenger side to see it working, should be there. Discovery 4 HSE

Is there a particular screen i have to be in to get the Dual View? For example, Nav / Map will let the passenger watch TV but radio / audio (USB etc) screen wont allow it?

Its ok found your post on it, not worth having to do it every time i start her up.

Mine was first registered in July 2010 and is a MY11 but although Autobiography spec no dual view. Dual View was not standard in some markets. There's a dedicated Dual View button on the side of the nav screen (the button shows two screens) on the cars fitted with it.

Ok so i have the Audio button with 2 screens on it, numbered 1 and 2 but how the f**k do i get it onto dual screen

I tried putting it on the map screen then pressing audio and it just turns me to the radio stations so i tried leaving it on that and pressing audio again but nothing, what is the process for turning this on please?

I'm such a thicko with this stuff and the manual just says press the button, did that, doesn't do anything.

Just guessing here but I think you should put the TV or DVD on first, then push the Dual View button.

Dual view works whenever you engage a gear and let the handbrake off whilst in TV or DVD mode. Should've been old enough to know better...doh!

Thanks everyone, will try it again today, was not in TV mode and also was in P so no wonder it wasn't making any difference.

I assume DVD mode is only for those with RSE, which i don't have?
