its been suggested that the s/c can have its oil changed at around the 60k miles mark and indeed there are 'kits' available on ebay...but no-one has actually done this as a diy job yet [afaik]

Generally, are turbos less reliable than superchargers? Previously..

I think they are overall, but I think the gap in reliability is narrower than it used to be. Turbos I think in the past suffered from heat and seal issues and the chargers less so as they sat on top and dont have to deal with exhaust heat.

Our SC is on 73k miles. It will be due a scheduled service in April. Aside to that are we saying the supercharger should be serviced around now? |
