RangeK1D, sorry to hear about your headlamp woes.

I had a similar experience a couple of years back, basically I bought a complete RR wing mirror for £150 from a breakers yard, but as it was so far away it was bought from phone description only. So it was not through eBay but I paid for it using PayPal payment for goods.

Mirror arrived and was not as described so I raised a PayPal dispute over the goods not being as described. The normal process is for the seller to respond to PayPal and the buyer and arrange something ie refund of agreed amount etc, or just a straight return of goods. In the case of a return of goods you would be expected to cover the return charges and when proof of delivery is supplied to PayPal they would refund your money if the seller doesn't for any reason.

In my case the seller never responded to the dispute and after 30 days PayPal refunded me my money and I was left with the mirror as the seller had not responded to arrange its return. I suspect in your case as the sum of money is £600 the seller will be inclined to respond to arrange the return of the headlights.

Just make sure you send them back very well packed and by insured method with proof of delivery, and take lots of pics of the scratches and damaged clips etc.

Hey Prop, yeah I think I am going to try and push for a 40% refund, I just have to wait till Monday to actually gain a response from the seller. The seller literally replied with "I Don't have time for this, I will review it and get back to you on Monday", man some people...... I have taken tons of pictures, might even make a video just in case. Hopefully I won't have to raise a case with paypal to get the seller to settle, hoping they will find and reach some level of morality and treat this case like it should. But hey thanks for the heads up, now I have a picture of another possible scenario and how it can play out.

Hey thought I would update you guys on the situation; last Tuesday night is when I sent the email to the seller regarding the headlights, on Wednesday afternoon I got a reply saying they'l look it over and get back to me on Monday. It is now Tuesday and no response. I opened a case on Paypal last night and still no response from the seller, asked for a 475$ refund from the 860$ paid. Now just hoping for the best. Zambezi Silver Range Rover (2010 Autobiography Facelift)

Best to just leave it now, don't bother the seller, the seller will now have to contact PayPal and you to resolve the issue. If he does nothing for over 30 days from you raising the PayPal case then you will get a full refund.

Is it worth raising a Paypal claim? Let them make a decision? Zambezi Silver Range Rover (2010 Autobiography Facelift)

If you haven't already raised a case thru paypal then do it now.

They take their time but for that amount of money 30days is small fries really and you can just sit back and not need to deal with the seller directly anymore.

ideally host the photos somewhere and put a link to it in the paypal case notes and let them check over it Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Yeah I'll start uploading pictures somewhere. With my message I specified a certain amount for my refund, if 30 days pass, will PayPal refund my entire purchase or just that amount which I specified to the seller? Zambezi Silver Range Rover (2010 Autobiography Facelift)

And sorry didn't mean to confuse ya, I have already opened a dispute but haven't opted Paypal for a claim. I am wondering if I need to raise a claim with PayPal in order to get a refund or if the dispute is more than enough to get me my refund in the case that the seller doesn't respond within 30 days of the dispute ticket.

Also, Stan do you know if the rear left/right pillar on the Vogue (which gets removed on 06/07+ models) can be easily removed?
