. . . Still contemplating how difficult (or not ?) it may be to install an OE AUX IN to my car ? Or was it, at that MY, an inclusive part of the RSE . . . Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Cheers, Stan - I may be clutching at straws though . . .
It would appear that this type of FF is the least audio friendly model Rolling Eyes
Maybe I should just stick with CD's through the awesome sounding hk system !

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

^ I went throught the same debate with my 06 lacking aux and came to conclusion that ur best just sticking with mp3 CDs and not spending the 500 quid plus that it was realistically gonna cost to get the LR iPod Kit purchased and fitted!

^ so did you have the LR kit fitted, redshovel ?
If so, was it worth the effort ?
I seriously considered a Vogue SE (for aux in/RSE etc) before I bought this one, but didn't want stuff like adaptive lights, TPMS etc . . .

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Don't have RSE and can't find an Aux scoket anywhere - also no Aux option in music display screen - does this mean I can't do it, or is thetre a fiendish mod??

To fill in the blanks for a few of you asking, the 07MY> ipod kit will work on all touch screen FF's from 05MY> 09MY pre facelift cars. With or without the dash facelift... The pre dash facelift cars are just harder to fit the kit into! i.e. dashtop off and nav screen removal Thumbs Up

mp3 cds sir Thumbs Up

best way forward and cheap as chips, fully controllable and if you load them correctly with the music it also gives album selection. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Forgive my ignorance, but what are MP3 CD's? are they something you can create yourself, and do you load MP3 files on to them (hence presumably getting more on to a CD than a single album) rather than just creating a music CD in the way I am familiar with? 2006 (56 Reg) 4.4 V8 Vogue In Bonatti Grey (Gorgeous!!)

Exactly that,

Basically you just copy mp3 albums from your pc (must be mp3 not other formats) onto cds and put them in your changer.

Can get about 5 or 6 albums per cd Thumbs Up

If you have itunes its a bit more complex as you have to crate an mp3
Copy and physically put them on the cd by copying and pasting rather than letting itunes do it, cos if itunes does it it wont work!

Itunes can crate the mp3, only problem is you then end up with two copies so pays to have a separate folder for the mp3s and remove them from you itunes library once you have copied them so as not to double up.

Is dead quick and easy to do in reality! Means you can get about 36 albums in the changer There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Thanks for that - I'll have to give it a try - 30 odd albums sounds much better than having to change the selection of 6 CD's every few days. Very Happy Thumbs Up

Do the MP3 CD's just play through the albums loaded in order, or can you select individual tracks / albums from each CD while playing? 2006 (56 Reg) 4.4 V8 Vogue In Bonatti Grey (Gorgeous!!)
