Crookedm and chaps, please don't get started on this thread, its a complete crock of , independence is a non starter both financially and socially, Salmond and his flunkies don't seem to realise that we couldn't even afford to pay them if we didn't have our relationship with the UK. There are conveniently no hard facts available from the nationalists as to why we should be independent, I would love to hear reasons for it but never can find any......... I await a rebuff

I wasn't meaning everything he said was of validity but things he says about Westminster and being out of touch are correct. I'm not even referring to any of his agenda.

Its a serious subject, even RBS have said they will pull out if we go independent, whether that is true or not it makes a statement. I know no one who wants independence apart from my 18 year old son who thinks William Wallace was a 5ft Australian
