Anyone got an iiD tool in the Newbury area? My suspension is playing up. Local extortionists can't look at it for another 2 weeks, and it's driving me mad.

Big Boy R44ROV...Island 4x4 do a great price and Dan @ duckworths is doing a group deal for them too. I think there is a thread about it on the forum if you search. |

vin lock is kinda true at the moment but when the 2.19 upgrade comes along you'll be able to read and clear faults on any FF within your year range..

Yep - a regular IIDTool will do 'regular diagnostics' on all vehicles it is programmed for w/o a VIN lock (e.g. L322 02-05 or L322 06-09 or D3 or D4, etc...) while enhanced diagnostic functions (EAS calibration, CCF, etc see post #3 in the product announcement thread) still remain VIN locked. Additional VIN licenses can be had for around GBP60, tho.

^ Wow! That's great. It is SO different than say, Apple. "We changed things for no good reason. The changes don't work on your OLD i___. The programs no longer work without the new changes. Just throw your i____ away and buy a new one from us." |
