Do you know why it comes with cut off wires and no remote ?

It needs a full service and powdercoating so 650 as-is is a bit dear really - it still needs wires and the 6 pin remote.

i dont know but i would expect it was removed from one of our vehicles when a replacement vehicle arrived and time was short. remote was probably left in the cubby box. i tried it with another 6 pin Warn remote and all works as it should.

it doesnt need a full service, its just been checked.

Powder coating as you suggest to make it look pretty would be a good idea.

wire remotes are £50 + delivery on Ebay (granted some have £20 delivery from US)

you could always just run the control wires into the vehicle and have it on a mom/off/mom switch in the vehicle.

I just lost a bid on the bay for a complete one with new accessories, including reg plate holder, new remote, new neoprene cover in bag, new wires for £513 all in.

I think your guy's price is way above market and I want to concentrate on finding a complete one not needing powdercoating etc.
