[SOLVED - sort of] Registering new version of All Comms?

Anyone know how to do this?

I have the software installed, and the licence key for the new version from Storey Wilson/RSW LLC, but when I asked him for the validation procedure he said:

"The validation process is very straight forward."

No instructions. Evil or Very Mad I tried everything that seems obvious but nothing works. Storey has gone quiet last couple of days so any help appreciated as to what I am supposed to do? Embarassed .

I had trouble doing what you're attempting a while back.
Just kept trying and all of a sudden it worked correctly without me doing anything differently.
From memory there was nothing complicated about the procedure, it just wouldn't take the activation key.

Trying what?

from what I can see in the program under Tools, there is a place to enter the code, then a validate button underneath it.

The TurboActivate.exe. doesn't run either .

I was re-installing after I had a problem, entered the validation code but nothing happened, then one time it just took the code for apparently no reason.

Turns out it is something wrong with my XP machine, I tried out installation and activation on wife's W8 laptop and the activation screen popped up immediately and activated with the key.

No comment from Storey about XP compatibility though....

Looking at the new version, lots of new features, but the ability to view all the readable fault codes has gone away Sad .
