Got RR back now, he took sump off and was full of metal pieces and fillings, so he replaced everything inside including all solenoids new converter etc sweet as a nut he said he'd never replaced as much hardware on a RR box so it's better than new but a little cocked off as looking in serv history it was only refurbed by the main dealer 33k ago not happy as I thought it would see me ok that's stealers for you half baked never change. Yer that's sensible money. Had mine done a few months back was very happy with the service but I believe the guy is retiring soon do it's always good to have another recommended number. The difference between theory and reality is that in theory it will work.
