New g/box done

Got RR back now, he took sump off and was full of metal pieces and fillings, so he replaced everything inside including all solenoids new converter etc sweet as a nut he said he'd never replaced as much hardware on a RR box so it's better than new but a little cocked off as looking in serv history it was only refurbed by the main dealer 33k ago not happy as I thought it would see me ok that's stealers for you half baked never change. Also meant to add it was £1400 Thumbs Up _____________________________________________________

Hi. Sounds like they did a good job and at least you have the peace of mind knowing it has been done right.

Where did you have it done?

Glad it's sorted and a very fair price...

I expect the dealer got some dodgy recon unit as cheap as possible and fitted that.... Pete

Yer that's sensible money. Had mine done a few months back was very happy with the service but I believe the guy is retiring soon do it's always good to have another recommended number. The difference between theory and reality is that in theory it will work.
